Blue Bugs Summer

Summer is here and I really hope you enjoy the slower pace of life and maybe some fun family adventures.  We are headed on an East Coast road trip and hope to see some great sites and make some memories.  I would love for your kids to keep me updated on their summer fun! Text or email me pictures.

I encourage you to make music a part of your summer routine (5 days a week!). It should be playful, and there are so many ideas.  I've attached the SUMMER FUN PACKET.  Optional, but SOOOO worth it.  If your child wants an easy transition into 2nd year, I suggest doing the packet!  You can break it up into weeks when you will be in town. Make it work for you! (Sorry, I'm not offering a prize for completing it. The prize is growing together with your child through music)

Other ideas to incorporate music into your summer:

-Play their favorite song on the bells

-Sing with a Let's Play Music album (you should have 2 to choose from)

-Play bug flashcard games

-Do this fun escape room

-Sing a round in harmony with your child (Are you Sleeping?, Three Blind Mice, El Gallo)

-Perform a musical puppet show with homemade props

Please share what works for you and your child.  I think simple incentives are always great! Once you put music in your daily routine, you won't regret it.  Have a super summer!
